Abby Kenna joins Pop Fuss to discuss her great new EP "Spit!" Abby is a creative soul who crafts engaging alt pop - something of a Chappel Roan for born-again emo kids. Tapping into the singularity of the queer experience, Abby has been gathering a cult following of raunchy indie rock enjoyers looking for a story that represents them. Her 4-song EP is surely just a taste of what's to come! We nerd out on 2000's emo pop, her choice to move to LA, and who else we'd like to have on our podcasts! (Yes, she also has a podcast!) We also get a sneak peak of her yet to be released next song!
Be sure to follow her on her socials @AbbyKenna and stream her music everywhere!
As mentioned, Abby also hosts her own podcast through @OnesToWatch called "Chef's Choice," a tastemaking talk show introducing listeners to their new favorite artists through a three course meal of tunes. Check out the episodes on Spotify.

Americans will remember our guest, Laila Samuels, from her band The Tuesdays. Signed by Clive Davis, Laila's group released their Arista Records debut in 1998. Though the album was great, the follow up never saw the light of day. Since that time, this Norwegian songwriter has written hundreds of songs for other artists, and continues to release her own music to this day. We discuss her musical history, touring with N'SYNC and Mariah Carey, appearing on MTV, and performing in the Eurovision contest. This month, Laila released "The Lost Demos" album. These tracks were recorded many years ago, and we're so glad she decided to put them out because they are GREAT! We discuss all of this and more!
Be sure to follow Laila on Facebook, and on Instagram @LailaSamuels. Stream all of her music on Spotify.
